Calendar
Haddonfield Holidays 2026: Tree Lighting, Santa Parade, Cocoa Walk and Candlelight Shopping Dates
Every downtown holiday date in one place, from the Nov. 27 Tree Lighting to the 12 Days of Haddonfield.
Haddonfield's holiday season starts Friday, Nov. 27, with the Tree Lighting at Library Point, a Santa parade through downtown and a merchant Cocoa Walk. After that, Candlelight Shopping runs every Friday through Dec. 18, Santa comes back to Kings Court twice, and the Yule Night Market fills Kings Highway on Dec. 4. The Partnership for Haddonfield just posted the details, so here is the whole calendar in one spot.
Fri., Nov. 27: Tree Lighting, Santa Parade and Cocoa Walk
Festivities start at 6 p.m. at Library Point, with DJ Frank Staff warming up the crowd before the Tree Lighting. At 6:30 p.m., Mr. and Mrs. Claus ride a classic convertible through downtown to the Kings Court Gazebo. Santa stays at the gazebo until 9 p.m.
One thing to know: the Haddonfield Celebrations Association lists the lighting itself at 6:30 p.m. So get there by 6 if you want a good spot and the full show.
Downtown merchants are running a Cocoa Walk with their own hot cocoa. The stops haven't been named yet. Shops stay open until 8 p.m. that night.

Candlelight Shopping, every Friday through Dec. 18
Candlelight Shopping kicks off the same night and runs every Friday evening through Dec. 18. It's the easy way to knock out a gift list and actually enjoy it. Candlelight Shopping
Fri., Dec. 4: Yule Night Market
From 4 to 9 p.m., more than 50 vendors and artists set up along Kings Highway and Kings Court, with live music, a DJ and carolers. The vendor list is "coming soon," per the Partnership. Yule Night Market
Fri., Dec. 11 and 18: Santa in Kings Court
Santa returns to the Kings Court Gazebo from 5:30 to 8 p.m. on both nights, while Mrs. Claus visits downtown shops. Photos are free. Bring your own camera. If you've ever paid mall prices for a Santa picture, this is the move.
Dec. 21 to Jan. 1: 12 Days of Haddonfield
The "12 Days of Haddonfield" promotion runs Monday, Dec. 21, through Friday, Jan. 1, with special shop hours, holiday meals and catering from local restaurants, and free parking. Participating shops and hours aren't posted yet. 12 Days of Haddonfield
Parking
The Partnership's page says downtown parking is free from Thanksgiving through Jan. 3, 2027. That lines up with the borough's holiday meter break on Kings Highway, where meters are still enforced from 7 to 9 a.m. on weekdays. We covered that vote in what Haddonfield commissioners decided.
