Umile sits on the east end of Kings Highway, about 2.5 blocks from the Haddonfield PATCO station, according to its OpenTable page. Parking is on the street.

Hours, per the restaurant's site:

  • Monday: closed
  • Tuesday to Saturday: 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
  • Sunday: 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.

What's on the menu

Pizza is the easy entry point. Real estate blogger Amy Reuter described the kitchen as wood-fired and Neapolitan-leaning when she wrote about it on Oct. 1. The current menu lists 12-inch pizzas including:

  • Tomato Pie, $15.50
  • Bianca with roasted garlic and ricotta, $16
  • Margherita, $18
  • Mushroom with goat cheese and charred red onion, $19
  • Mortadella and Burrata with pistachio and pesto, $20
  • Shrimp Vodka, $21
  • Clams Casino, $22

On the pasta side, the Wild Mushroom Ravioli comes with a mushroom and shallot filling, black garlic fonduta and spinach. The site posts more than one menu, and the ravioli is listed at $23 on one and $29 on another, so check which menu you're ordering from. The restaurant also calls out the Black Truffle Rotolo, Butternut Squash Bucatini and a Banana and Nutella Budino as signatures.

OpenTable lists the executive chef as Nate Gouldsbury and puts most dishes in the "$30 and under" range.

Bring a bottle

Haddonfield is a dry town, so Umile is BYOB, and the restaurant says so plainly. Need ideas? Our Thanksgiving week drinks guide covers seasonal beers close to home.

Groups and private dining

There's a private room called the King's Table that seats up to 20, per OpenTable. Packages start at $35 to $40 a person for lunch and $45 to $55 for dinner. The main dining room holds up to 44, and full buyouts are possible. Email umiletrattorianj@gmail.com to ask.
